According to Oxford Dictionary, Luxury means a thing that is expensive and enjoyable but not essential or a pleasure or an advantage that you do not often have.
For many of my clients, who I accompany through their therapeutic journey to freedom, luxury means a beautiful house, comfortable premium car, unforgettable exotic holiday that they will be able to afford only after the kids leave home.
Luxury may be associated also with being independent, belonging to some elite group, limitless possibilities, being able to achieve set out goals or dreams, or with FREEDOM. I will show you that emotional luxury is not something that you can rarely afford.
Emotional luxury is closely connected with emotional independence.
Ask yourself those questions: Am I dependable on something or someone? What stops me from being emotionally independent?
