Business is a complicated thing – on the one hand, there are many rules, algorithms, methods, ways and tricks that – as most ads on Facebook and other social media assure you – will guarantee your success, while the truth is that the secret power of entrepreneurship lies, in creativity, which has nothing to do with all those golden tools.
Do not be a hostage
Most of us start to run our businesses as if we were hostages of all these rules, methods, success formulas. Our brain is like a bully that tells us what our business will look like and constantly tires to put doubt into our minds by telling us: “okay, but you don’t really know that yet and you don’t have 100K followers, so how do you want to get there.” If you are still at this stage, then just take a deep breath, say in your thoughts: “Seriously, brain? Are we still going to play that mind game? And with exhale let go of all the pressure that you and only you put yourself under.
Show what you are made of!
If you have gone through the previous stage more or less consciously, now it’s time to start acting, right now, this minute! You are the Queen and your strategies are your loyal subjects. They do as you tell them. Every task you do quicker, you are more and more focused and become more effective. Your bank account makes you happier and happier but at the same time you are more and more tired, you do not recognize yourself … you did not think everything would happen so quickly. And goals, targets, customers, responsibilities, debts, overwhelm you more and more and push you to your limits. After all, you must show what you are made of! You are unstoppable – moreover, you keep telling yourself that it is better not to stand still for too long, because you will be out of the game in minutes or maybe your heart will start whispering to you that there should be something more than all those numbers, results and deadlines…
