A lot of people are fascinated with the law of attraction but after a while of trying to use it they are frustrated and disappointed that it doesn’t work. Is it a lie, or are we doing it wrong?
You have been told that you need to think about something intently and it will happen. You have been told that you need to think only about positive things because if you think about negative, they will also happen. So, at this point some people become paranoid and stressed whenever a negative thought enters their mind. You take it to another level and try very hard to ensure that you see positive in anything that happens around you. But you are just a human being and not a robot who can just switch off all its negative emotions, re-programme its mind in a week or a month and become an always happy person. After a month of intensive positive thinking and setting up dreamy intentions in the morning you barely see the results as it seems that yes, you want this latest version of Jaguar, yes you have been imagining sitting in it and driving it and feeling all those emotions of happiness flooding your heart while revving its engine. And yes, you have started seeing those beauties being driven everywhere you go. The only problem was they were not driven by you. So, after a month of thinking about it, of talking about it and of seeing it everywhere somehow your dream car did not materialise itself and you are not its proud owner.
So, you either start asking yourself a question of what I am doing wrong, or you decide it doesn’t work and you move on. After careful deliberation and trying to combine my knowledge of spiritualism and business I came into conclusion that it will only work if you are willing to work for it. In my mind the Law of attraction is here to help you relax, build up a trust in yourself, become open to possibilities and opportunities. It is another a bit more creative way of setting up goals. So, if you are a person who hates Excel Spreadsheets and writing plans in the morning, you will be more inclined to use the Law of Attraction method. So how does that work?
Step 1. – Spiritualism – Relaxation, connection with the Higher Self
Step 1 – Business – Brainstorming
When you are tensed your brain is locking and you are not able to think straight as you are in the panic mode, survival mode. In that mode creativity is used only as a tool to survive. It’s used in a very limited way. To be able to create a brand, new solution, new strategy you need to be relaxed and have fun with the process. When you are relaxed you are able to find new ways, options or solutions quicker and they are very likely to be innovative. So, meditating, sitting in silence, switching your busy mind is a great way to become open to influx of new ideas.
Step 2 – Spiritualism: Gratitude technique / mindfulness.
Step 2 – Business: Current situation analysis
When you wake up, sit down, close your eyes, and take a few slow breaths in and out. When you feel relaxed start thinking how grateful you are for everything you have so far. We are often programmed to think about everything we do NOT have, or we lack so our thinking process is focused either on our past experiences or on our future. The gratitude method is forcing us to think about the current situation not in a negative but positive way, so at the end of the process we feel more realistic and balanced.
